Inner Beauty

I created this page because I think we often become consumed and obsessed with physical beauty, it eventually owns us and determines our self-worth. I am guilty of putting too much emphasis on my own physical beauty but I think it's important sometimes to recognize that in ourselves and remember who we are inside is the true beauty. What makes a person beautiful? Some people would say their bone structure, eyes, lips or nose. Beauty is nothing without heart, you can't have one without the other. Most of us know someone who is stunning on the outside but their ugly character makes it harder and harder to see their beauty which changes the perception entirely. It is always refreshing to meet someone who is drop-dead beautiful only to discover they are just as beautiful on the inside, everyone should strive to the kind of person that works just as hard on their inner beauty as they do on the outside. This can be hard for everyone as the media brain washes us to think what we look like should determine what we're worth and how much love we deserve. Never base your worth on the attention you get from your beauty but rather the admiration you get as a human being.
